Contact technical support

Carbal offers a wide variety of services. In the event that your watch is damaged or broken or does not work, we will be happy to help you.

You can take your watch to our stores or contact us to send it to us in another way.

Carbal recommends changing the battery of your watch regularly.

A battery in poor condition can cause time differences or, in the worst case, a deterioration of the movement.

It is important that you have your quartz watch serviced every three years.

This maintenance is essential to guarantee the maximum functioning of the movement.

Your watch includes a mechanical system that can lose accuracy over time, as well as gaskets with a limited life.

To ensure the water resistance and function of the watch movement, it is necessary to check it regularly:
- Every three years for automatic/hand-wound watches.
- Every year for watches COSC certificates* (to ensure accuracy).

In each vintage watch there is a unique story and priceless sentimental value. Perhaps your watch has suffered over the years and needs the best service to allow its story to continue into the next generation.

Restoration is a job that involves a study of the piece so that its restoration fits the model and its history, taking care of even the smallest detail.

A watch is guaranteed against all possible manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, subject to the conditions of the user manual.

To enjoy this guarantee you will be asked to present the purchase certificate, with date, stamp and signature of an authorized dealer.

* Carbal repair guarantee - From the date of repair, all interventions carried out by our technical service have a 12-month warranty.
This warranty covers only the cost of labor and spare parts used in the repair. The Carbal repair guarantee is complementary to the house guarantee that was delivered at the time of purchase.
The repair guarantee does not cover problems arising from accidental or deliberate damage, negligence (impacts, breaks, humidity in the watch cases that are not water resistant, etc.) and alterations due to repairs carried out by personnel other than Carbal.

The life of a battery ranges between 2 and 6 years depending on the model.

Most of the quartz watches with a second hand in the center have an end-of-life indicator (EOL).

To indicate that the battery is running low, the second hand begins to jump every four seconds; this happens about two weeks before the battery needs to be replaced.

A watch mechanism works non-stop 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Consequently, it has to undergo regular maintenance to ensure its proper functioning and to preserve both its accuracy and its tightness.

It is recommended to carry out a complete revision every 5 years.
