Taking advantage of the success of Historiador Asturias, Cuervo y Sobrinos has added a new model to the company's extensive collection. The Asturias Small Seconds Historian shares some of the physical characteristics of his older brother, but on this occasion he simply shows the hours, minutes and seconds. The watch is free of superfluous details and conveys meaning with a pure and elegant form.
Ramón Fernández Cuervo emigrated from his home in Pravia, a town in Asturias in northern Spain, and settled in Cuba. He established a jewelry store in Havana in 1862 and subsequently invited members of his family to join him. In 1882, Don Cuervo established a new company with his nephews (nephews), the aptly named 'Cuervo y Sobrinos' firm.
By publishing Historiador Asturias Pequenos Segundos, Cuervo y Sobrinos pays tribute to Ramón Fernández Cuervo and his compatriots who bravely traveled to Cuba to start a new life on the island. Collectively, these individuals have enriched Cuban society and helped make it what it is today.
